How can I transfer a file I created in JPEG video with Final Cut Pro?
I'm creating a commercial, that at the end of, (phone numbers information, the company logo, website URL, etc.) appears. My boss wants me to update the last part of the video with new contact information. How can I screen grab of that announcement, the change in Photoshop, and get back in the video. Please be as detailed as possible, I am very new to the world of Photshop and Final Cut Pro
I'm assuming you're using a Mac, since they are using FCP. This is what you can do. To watch the video and pause on the screen you want edit. Hold Control-Command-Shift and then press 4. The cursor will become a target and you can select the image. Is copied to the clipboard and then you can go open a new file in Photoshop and click Edit and Paste. You can then delete, add, change, whatever you need to in photoshop. Save the image as a JPG. Go to Proposition Final Cut, remove the video of the section with the image and replace it with the new!
